Sri Lanka Day 17: Negombo

The first sunny day for about a week! We decided to head to Negombo beach - we walked via the market and somewhere to grab some breakfast then caught some rays. We felt a bit out of place because of the locals wearing jeans strolling the beach and not many tourists to be seen - but still a few salesmen trying to sell blankets and bracelets.

We had some really good ice cream at Rio Icecream which also seemed to be a bit of a local hangout not a tourist trap, which is always a good sign! Good prices and good ice cream.

We had some late lunch/dinner in Dinemore, another local eatery, on the way back to Rasika’s before packing up ready for our flight to Bangkok, Thailand.
