Sri Lanka Day 5: Galle to Mirissa with a stop off at Jungle Beach

We walked through the fort and out the main gate to get a bus to Unawatuna. Once we were there, we followed signs (not that there were many) and were directed by locals down to Jungle Beach where there were monkeys swinging in the trees.

After applying some more sun cream and DEET, we followed the coast around to Unawatuna Beach where we had some lunch before getting a bus to Mirissa, which took about 3 hours.

We checked into JJs hostel then walked down the road to a pretty cafe where we had our cheapest meal yet! We accidentally bought 2 things each because we thought you had to buy the rice and curry separately or the servings would be small due to the price but each thing we ordered would’ve been fine for a main course.. Oops! But it was still cheaper than what we have been paying.
